About the artist:

Born in South Africa, Kathleen Fox lives in Cranbrook and exhibits

regularly in England, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Portugal and

Chile. Her next residency and exhibition is at the Freud Museum,

London.

She uses texture as a means to bypass rational thought and enter the

fluid realm of the unconscious. The narratives that surface and evolve

form part of an unfolding personal mythology.

Kathleen’s work is informed by Mythology, Surrealism and her readings

in prehistory.
