About the artist:

Born 1950.  Trained at Eastbourne and Maidstone Colleges of Art.  A

painter in Watercolours and Oils, and a Printmaker producing limited

editions of Woodcuts and Drypoints, mainly Wildlife and Landscape

subjects.  He has been a Member of the S.W.L.A. (Society of Wildlife

Artists) since the 1980s

He was involved in Artists for Nature projects in Poland, Extremadura,

Wexford, the Netherlands and Israel and was Artist in Residence at the

Parc des Ecrins in the French Alps for four years.

His work has been reproduced in many books including Twentieth

Century Wildlife Artists (1986, Croom Helm) and Modern Wildlife

Painting (1998, Pica Press),  both by Nicholas Hammond.  Towards the

Sea (1999, Pica Press) is the first book devoted solely to his work.
