About the artist:
I have been interested in art and ceramics since I was a child and the
theme of animals and figures and the importance of colour originated
very early on.
My influences include Chagall for his bold colours and original story
telling and Klimt for his beautiful use of colour and pattern. Sketching
and painting alongside my sculpting, it is my constant aim to create an
infusion of colour, energy and movement, humour and curiosity in each
piece. Behind each smiling face or humorous pose is a person with a
story.
